Founded in 2020, the Tactical Athlete Leadership Board (TA-LB) is a collection of experts and leaders from the U.S. Armed Forces, from academia, and from the human performance data and technology industries, with experience across the professional sports landscapes. The TA-LB is brought together with one goal in mind: to explore human performance technologies that can help sustain the tactical athlete of today and prepare for the needs of the tactical athlete of tomorrow.
What is a “Tactical Athlete”?
There are many different kinds of tactical athletes. From Marines to Soldiers, Airmen to Sailors, first-responders to analysts—the many different types of tactical athletes have varied role expectations, and thus unique fitness and human performance demands. The TA-LB works to address the needs of all tactical athletes.
